UK-based temporary power rental specialist APR Energy announced that it would be acquired by a private equity consortium in a deal which valued the company at £165 million (€229 million).
Loxam acquires the French and Spanish business of USheadquartered Hertz Equipment Rental Corporation. The transaction includes 60 locations in France and two in Spain. Loxam said the deal would increase its market share in the Paris area and the North and West of France as well as reinforce its Spanish network.
Canadian G. Cooper Equipment Rentals seals a deal to acquire SMS Rents, a division of SMS Construction and Mining Systems. The transaction is backed by private investment company Seafort Capital.
Vp acquires electrical instrumentation and environmental specialist Test & Measurement Group for £3.95 million (€5.6 million).
