Catalogue of Equipment Rental Industry Issues, Needs and Requirements for Construction & Access Equipment

This document serves as a support for communication between rental companies and OEMs. It will allow OEMs willing to better serve the needs of the rental industry to understand the issues and the needs that the rental companies are facing in their day-to-day operations as well as in the management of their equipment fleets. It should also help rental companies to develop long-term partnerships with these suppliers.

It was produced by the European Rental Association’s (ERA) Committee on Equipment Technology. Resulting from a common sharing and analysis between OEMs and rental companies, it describes the issues, needs and requirements of the rental industry in relation to the main product categories of equipment of the rental companies’ fleets.
